Alma Wake Stewart departed this life Thursday, March 15, 2012 at the age of ninety-one. Alma lived in Indianapolis for over sixty-five years. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Henry Stewart, her son Paul Steven Stewart, her parents Arthur and Mally Jane Wake, her sister Mrs. Delcie Wake Merchant, and her brothers Arthur and Bernell Wake. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters Vera Ellen Stewart of Kansas City, Missouri, Dr. Mary Stewart-Pellegrini (Cliff) of Gary, Indiana, her youngest sister Helen F. Edwards of Phoenix, Arizona, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving friends.
