Gary Wilson Whitaker - 67, Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away Thursday, February 14, 2013, with his wife at his side.
Gary was born on May 4, 1945, in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Ollie M. (Thompson) and Clotis W. Whitaker.
He attended Greenwood High School, Herron School of Art and Indiana University. Gary served his country in the US Air Force with 3+ years of active duty during the Vietnam War. He had a 35+ year career at Eli Lilly and Company, Indianapolis, IN; when he retired, he was a project management consultant, Tox/ADME/PK business strategy.
Gary is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Nancy; his son, Jerry S. Whitaker; his son, Curtis W. Whitaker and his wife, Bunolo; his sister and brother-in-law, Betty Jo and Homer C. Unger; and brother-in-law, Robert L. Gallick.
