84, passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2009, while surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Latvia, and lived in Indianapolis since 1953.
He retired after working at RCA 25 years and enjoyed his retirement making Latvian jewelry, clocks and decorative boxes, enjoying family and friends. He was actively involved with the Latvian Lutheran Church and the Latvian Community Center.
He is survived by his wife, Erika; brother Peteris, two sisters and one brother in Latvia; daughters Anita (Rob) McArty and Regina (Terry) Dean; sons Uldis (Barbara) Jansons and Gunvids (Michele) Jansons; three grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
