Mr. Raymond G. Smith, 80, Indianapolis, transitioned from labor to reward on the morning of January 20, 2017.He was a member of Liberation A.M.E. Zion Church. Mr. Smith retired from the Indianapolis Fire Department as a Deputy Fire Marshal. He also served at Station 31 and was a part of the Fire Prevention Team.Mr. Smith leaves to cherish his memory, loving wife, Pauline Smith; daughters: Karan Barlow, Shanel Smith and Sharon Darden (Don); 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends. The visitation is Saturday, January 28, 2017, 10am - 12pm, with the Homegoing Celebration at 12pm at Liberation A.M.E. Zion Church. The interment will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.
