Ivan E. Bennington, 87 of Indianapolis passed away on December 18, 2016. He was born on June 27, 1929 in Bedford, Indiana to the late Evans and Anna Bennington (Emery). Ivan was an electrician and worked for various employers including being self-employed. He had a natural gift, being able to diagnose and fix anything he touched! He loved and enjoyed model airplanes, belonging to the Indy R-C South Group, where he served as past President. Ivan is preceded in death by his parents, sister; Joanna O'Rear and son Mark Bennington. Ivan is survived by his devoted wife Martha Bennington,Sons;Tom (Rita) Gallagher, James (Linda) Derby, Daughters; Sandra (Joe) Bruni, Marsha Hack, Kathleen (Bruce) Cole, 18 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
