Coach Mundy was always so encouraging to me on the MHHS football team.  Later during my banking career, our paths would occasionally cross and he was always so gracious. My condolences to Mike’s family.

Though I didn't know Mike, I appreciate the love and joy he brought to my friend and his wife, Teri. Peace to all.

Dear Mundy family,

I got to know Mike over the past several years of family gatherings on Teri’s side for birthdays and holidays and such. We shared a love for baseball so I always looked forward to catching up on and sharing memories. Mike’s a lovely guy to know and I’ll sure miss him.

Prayers for you all as you reflect on many memorable years.

Terri and Mike Mundy's extended family,
Please accept my condolences. Mike was a close friend that I met when I arrived in Anderson to attend and play football for the Anderson College Ravens.  We were placed as roommates in the basement of Dunn Hall. Mike and I became instant friends because the football team arrived early on campus before the other students.I came to Anderson from Florida. It didn't take long for me to meet Mike's parents, who were very good to me since I was so far from home. We even shared each other's closets on occasion. In our later lives, Mike invited me to join Charlie's Gang. Before that, we had only visited each other once in a while. It was then fun to see each other every week. He spoke of love for Terri and their family so often. I will miss you Mike, RIP!

This was our sophomore year at Anderson College. We all enjoyed being a member of the Anderson College Football Team. We all lived in Dunn Hall. Mike and I were on the third floor. Mike was a great running back.

Mike and I were roommates at Anderson College for our first two years. On Sundays, the three of us plus Dave Edwards and Harold MacMillian would go to Mike's home in Anderson and fix our evening meal because the school cafeteria was closed on Sunday evening. Mike's dad worked at Howe Fire, where he helped me put an engine in my car.

I am thinking of you Teri and praying for you and your family. May your beautiful memories keep him close always.

It's hard to find a picture of my father as a child without your dad sitting right there with him. I know my dad treasured their relationship and it was always nice to see Mike and the entire family when the opportunity arose. My condolences to you all, especially David and Jay. Miss you my sweet cousins. Praying for peace of mind and heart for all of you during this difficult time. You will see one another again so remember it's just goodbye for now....

Mundy family - my sincerest condolences to the family, kids, grandkids.  I met Coach Mundy back in 1999 when i was a sophmore in HS at Hamilton Southeastern and he was my 16u Bulls Coach.  Both Dave and Mike were coaches and they made the Indiana Bulls experience and season so enjoyable and fostered a sincere love of the game.  Between the competitiveness, high accountability of the players, recognition, and praise he was the perfect coach and 25 years later I still remember that 16u summer with Dave and Mike together.  "Old Man" Mundy is a legend and will be remembered by so many in the Indiana Bulls baseball organization.  I can only imagine his impact with everyone else in his life as I selfishly only got him for about 75 days that summer.  We reconnected about 5 years ago when my boys joined the Bulls and it was a highlight for me to spend some time with him.

Dave and Jay I am so sorry for your loss.  His dedication to youth sports was unmatched.  He led our Northwestern CDC team to the Super Bowl oh so many years ago and coached me in baseball for several seasons.  It was always so great running into him at grand park while my son was playing the game your dad loved so much!  Wishing your families peace in this difficult time.

Mike, it's been my pleasure knowing you for 30 plus years. You were always so helpful to my mother Beverly, you shoveled her snow,and many other things. She so enjoyed coming across the street and having a cocktail and laughs. You were a dear friend to her, to me and Bob. I will miss seeing all your beautiful cars and killer sport hats. I would stop over to see Teri and you were always heading to Grand Park for a sporting event.  Don't worry Mike. I will help Teri with anything she needs.  Tell my mother Beverly hello and let her know we will miss you and her so deeply.
