Michael met the love of his life in grade school and both he and Leslie spend a long an loving 40 years together. Michael loved sports during his early years be it playing on the school's basketball team to even being the captain of the swimming team. Michael would attend Purdue where he would achieve his MBA applying his hard work ethic that he would continue to do throughout his entire life. Michael would also become a proud member of Omega Psi Phi. Michael would apply his love of life not only to his family, but sharing that to those who were lucky enough to know him and call him friend.
Russell Simmons once said "Respect your parents. What they tell you is true. Hard work, dedication and faith will get you anything. Imagination will drive itself. You can get anything you want, but you have to have faith behind all your ideas. Stick to your goals and have an undying faith."
Michael knew all of these things and through faith and love he will be remembered, cherished, and missed by all his family and friends.
Michael is survived by his wife, Leslie Vinson; son Jermaine Bivins; daughter Aisha Vinson; and son Michael Anthony Vinson; mother Delores Watkins; brother Timothy Crawford, brother Randy Crawford, brother Gregory Watkins, sister Merna Crawford, sister Kimberly (Scott) Right and sister Greta Gary; granddaughter Grace ., granddaughter Serenity ., granddaughter Jazymine ., granddaughter Regina . and grandson Mikhail ..
Michael was preceded in death by; father Leon Crawford.
A visitation for Michael will be held Friday, February 22, 2019 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Westside Missionary Baptist Church, 6321 La Pas Trail, Indianapolis, IN 46268. A funeral service will occur Friday, February 22, 2019 at 11:00 AM, 6321 La Pas Trail, Indianapolis, IN 46268. A burial will occur Friday, February 22, 2019 at Crown Hill Cemetery, 700 W. 38th St., Indianapolis, Indiana 46208.
