Mary was a member of St. Rita Catholic Church, where she was the Church organist for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Miles Rush and her parents, James and Geneva Stone Rush.
Mary leaves to cherish her memory, sons: Charles H. Whitney, Jr. and Lionel M. Whitney; siblings: Larry Ruth, Arthur L. Rush, Eld. Lionel Rush, Joe Rush, Ermildale Rush Thompson, Verrus Rush Gordon, Ona Rush Ballinger, Doris Rush Robinson and Barbara Rush Story and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
A Musical and spoken word program will take place on Friday, July 31, 2015 at True Victory C.O.G.I.C. The visitation will take place on Saturday, August 1, 2014, 9am - 11am, with the Homegoing Service at 11am in Williams & Bluitt Funeral Home Peoples Chapel. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
