Mary Joan Porter

Mary Joan Porter 84, of Danville, passed away on November 9, 2020 at home surrounded by her loving family. Joan was born April 20, 1936 in Tollesboro, Kentucky the daughter of the late John W. and Anna Ellis. Joan was a faithful member of El-Bethel Baptist Church in Avon, Indiana. She is survived by her children: Patricia Banks and Brian (Julia) Porter, siblings: Ceil and Larry and 11 grandchildren. Joan is preceded in death by her husband: Owen C. Porter, son: AC Porter and siblings: Tom, Frank, Ruth and Ray. Services for Joan will be held on Saturday, November 14, 1:00 pm with visitation from 11:00 am until the time of service at Family Funeral Care.
