Mary Ellen Gilbert, 68of Indianapolis, passed away April 21, 2018. She leaves to cherish her memory her five sons, Dewayne Gilbert (Sherry, Tommy Gilbert, Michael Gilbert, Patrick Gilbert, and Timothy Battle; her four sisters, Frances M. Gartrell, Caroline J. Robinson, Judy Livingston, Lynn Wilson; her two brothers, Williams Andrew Gilbert, Jr. and Robbie Gilbert (Annette); and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other extended relatives and friends. Celebration of life service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, April 28, 2018 in the Williams & Bluitt Peoples Chapel, with visitation there from 9 am until service time. Interment: New Crown Cemetery.
