To Mary...and her Family...I worked for Mary at St Agnes Hospital, (Fresno), and as I'm sure you've read/heard many times, "this IS one great lady"...I was an ER Registrar, and Mary was Coordinator of the E.R. Department on various shifts.  Mary...Mary KNEW the hearts of the people she supervised...I...(am I'm not known for brevity) am unable to say anything more than, "Mary...I am just one, ONE, of many, many whose lives you touched more than you could ever know"...Rest in Peace (I know you Are), my friend, my mentor!


Dear Sam and our Mc Nelis cousins,
Mum and I are genuinely saddened to receive the news of Mary's passing.  Mum and Dad really enjoyed meeting with you all and establishing contact with the US branch of the family and I know that Dad regreted not getting to know you earlier.  I am also sorry that I never happened to be in Kilcar when you visited, but I did hear all from Mum and Dad. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at what we know is a difficult time. Words can not describe the sorrow we feel for your (and our) loss. Mare was such a huge part of our (especially my) fondest memories. She was...a kindred spirit, the light in the room, a smile on a dark day...an angel! With just a look, a smile or the sound of her laugh, she could melt the clouds away.  She had a framed piece of art in her bathroom that read "Some people come into our lives and quickly go.Some stay for awhile and leave footprints on our hearts,
And we are never, ever the same. We will never ever be the same--because we were lucky enough to be blessed with our Mare! My wife, Susie(maiden name) Molsbergen and I worked with Mary at St. Agnes Hospital-ER in the early-mid 80's.  She was such a pleasure.  Mary will be remembered to us as a very kind and engaging person with a great heart.  Mary, may you rest in eternal peace.

Dearest Sam, Rose, Helen, Rita and John, Mare was such a wonderful part of our memories!  Our hearts are so sad, but we feel so blessed to have had Mary as a friend (me, Estel, for over sixty years).  It is the joy of her laughter through all our antics that are of consolation now. I worked with Mary at St. Agnes ED for many years.  She was an inspirations and a great teacher to me and others.  She was so kind to her patients and her laughter could be heard above the chaos of a very busy ED.  Mary made it fun to come to work.  We all loved her very much. Cindy Joy-McCoy

I had the pleasure to work with Mary as my charge nurse in the ED at St. Agnes. She was an inspiration for me, with her positive attitude, her infectious chuckle. Mary could always find the humor and reason in difficult situations. She certainly was a role model for me as I started my nursing career.
