Lisa Marie Ramsey

Lisa Marie Ramsey, age 62, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2023. Lisa was born in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Charlotte (Osenbaugh) Kuehr and Richard Kuehr. She is also preceded in death by her husband, David Ramsey; son, baby David; brother, Ronald Kuehr; and nephew, Andrew Kuehr. Lisa earned her bachelor degree from Marian College and Masters from IUPUI. Lisa taught at St. Simon the Apostle for over 35 years and most recently at St. Anthony's with Catapult Learning. She cherished her career in education and loved children. Lisa particularly doted on her nieces and nephews by taking them shopping and as a supporter of all their sports and activities. Her dogs Quincy and Dwruble were also dear to her. She was always there for anyone when they needed her and was selfless. She was everyone's master seamstress, secret cookie recipe baker, and vacation and travel partner as she love to travel.

Lisa is survived by her siblings, Loretta "Lorrie" Gruner (Jim), Joanne Cassada, Greg Kuehr (Valencia), Janet Farmer (Carl), and Tim Kuehr (Colleen); nieces and nephews, Victoria Hartman, Amanda Kuehr, Ryan Cassada, Sean Cassada, Jake Kuehr, Annamaria Farmer, Bridgette Farmer, Cassaundra Farmer, Maxwell Farmer, Keaton Kuehr, Sullivan Kuehr; and great nieces and nephew, Kaelyn, Braedyn, Addie Summers.

Visitation for Lisa will be held Sunday, June 11, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary, 1307 N Shadeland Ave, Indianapolis, Indiana 46219. Her Mass of Christian Burial will occur Monday, June 12, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 7243 E 10th St, Indianapolis, Indiana 46219. She will be laid to rest in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, Indianapolis, Indiana.
