Leatrice R. Plant

Leatrice grew up in the Catholic faith, and attended St. Rita's Catholic School. She was currently a member of New Beginning's Fellowship Church, which she loved attending weekly services.

Leatrice attended John Marshall High School.

Leatrice graduated from Ivy Tech School of Nursing in 1991. After obtaining her LPN license, Leatrice worked for several nursing communities. She retired from Marquette Manor in 2013.

Leatrice lived a life with no boundaries and enjoyed everything and everyone. She was a colorful, free spirit. To her sisters and brothers...... Leatrice loved them all with everything in her. The parties', the births, through the tears, the smiles, the laughs, and everything in between, thank you for loving her unconditionally!

Leatrice departed this life on Monday, January 13, 2020. Leatrice was preceded in death by both her parents; Pearline Plant, Robert Gilspie, and her daughter Pearl.

Leatrice leaves to cherish her memory; her son Willie Demetrius Plant (Aubery), daughter; Marqushia Russel, grandchildren; LaChaee, Demetrius, Marquah, John, Amarianna, Myanah, and Jackson, brothers; Gregory Plant, Robert Dunlap, Eric Plant, and a host of nieces and nephews with whom she loved dearly.

Special daughter Tiffany Glaspy, and her children; Jada and Christian, "The Crew"; Kimberly Johnson-Sanders, Michelle Powell, Toy Dunn, Rachel Budnik-Rainey, Erin Worrell, David Henson, Gerald Ellis, Christopher Wilcox, Denise Parks, and Michelle Wardlow and an host of nieces, nephews and other relative and friends.
