My heart hurts to know my brother-in- law is no longer here. We shared laughter, cook outs and overall family time. My thoughts and prayers goes out to my sister Juanita and the entire Summer’s family.  Kevin you left too soon. As a believer you filled a seat in heaven, but left life long memories in the hearts of many on earth. You will be missed. Love you.



Kevin and I sang in The Good Earth Band together at The Garden. He was an incredible performer and brought so much feeling to a song. More than that he was so warm and caring. He brought joy and kindness simply by walking in the room. He was a beautiful soul and a light in this world. We will greatly miss him.

Kevin brought a spirit of love and joy that was contagious.  We will forever remember  and be grateful for his soul inspiring singing and insights.  Love to Juanita and family.

His Filipino friends at The Garden send their condolences to the family of Kevin.  We remember his ready smiles and friendliness.  His singing inspired us to clap and tap our toes for the Lord.  God bless you on your journey home, Kev.   You will be missed.


I met Kevin at The Garden many years ago, when we were in the first few years of existence. He was such a kind man, always willing to help in any way he could. He occasionally sang with The Good Earth Band and his joy was infectious! Who could resist that smile? And it would be impossible to find anyone who sell a song through not only his voice but his entire demeanor - including those dance moves! He was a true servant and his enthusiasm for life will live on. 

I have so many fond memories of Kevin, singing at The Garden.  He was always up for a challenge, and always rose to the occasion, bringing his positive energy!  I’m thankful that I got to know Kevin, and he will be missed.

I sang with him at The Garden back in the day. He always made me laugh and he put his all into anything he sang. Such a warm and genuine soul. 

Dear Juanita and Family,
Kevin was such a kind and loving friend. We met when he began singing at The Garden, and developed a friendship over the next several years. He let me “off the hook”, upon learning that my knowledge of fishing was minimal, and mostly about fishing as a child. When I got a little sail boat, and couldn’t justify keeping two watercraft, Kevin was so glad to take one off my hands, and get on the water, to fish! That man loved to fish. He had so many stories and great memories, from silly to fantastic. I’m so sorry to lose his physical presence, but know he’ll  remain in my heart  always.

I am so incredibly sorry for your loss.  I know that there are very few words that anyone can say to ease the sorrow.  I pray that the Lord Jesus will comfort you during this difficult time.
