Kathy Frances McCormick

Kathryn Frances (Pfau) McCormick, age 79, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2024. She was born June 4, 1945 in Indianapolis to Charles and Josephine (Hughey) Pfau. Kathy graduated from Indiana University in 1967. She was a teacher for IPS and she also worked for Noble of Indiana. After retirement, Kathy loved spending time with her grandchildren and traveling. She had a gift of gab. Kathy is survived by her children, Robert Pierpont and Jennifer (Brian) Goacher; grandchildren, Lindsey Harness and Grace, Mia and Meredith Goacher; siblings, Theresa (Mark) Slaton and Peggy Pfau; and niece, Kristin (Steve) Ahaus. Kathy was preceded in death by her husband, Peter McCormick; parents, Charles and Josephine Pfau; and brother, Charles "Butch" Pfau. A visitation for Kathy will be held on Monday, July 22, 2024 from 3:00 PM until 6:30 PM at Feeney Hornak Shadeland Mortuary, 1307 N. Shadeland Ave. Indianapolis, IN 46219. A funeral service will immediately follow at 6:30 PM. Kathy will be laid to rest at Washington Park East Cemetery on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at 9:00 AM.
