Katherine Laverne Jinks

84, has gone to be with her Lord and Savior, on March 20, 2012. She was born in Knox City, Texas. She was preceded in death by her father and mother James Leonard and Clora Pettes White; brothers Harry White, Buddy White, Charles White, Kenneth White, Jerry White, and Alto White.

Kathy is survived by her husband of 66 years Orville Jinks; daughter Dixie Jinks Roe; sons, Gregory (Brenda) Jinks, Steve (Sue) Hodgson and Terry Jinks; grandchildren, Monica Roe (Seth) Nicholas, Kari Points, Matthew (Angie) Roe, Evan Jinks, Wesley Jinks, Chris Hodgson, Laura Amenn and Christopher Jinks; and 10 great grandchildren.

Kathy was beloved as a beautiful and gracious person who demonstrated her love and commitment in everything she did and was loved by all. She was an active member and volunteer at New Baptist Church for nearly 40 years.

Friends may call on Friday March 23rd from 10:00AM-Noon at Little & Sons Funeral Home 4901 E. Stop 11 Rd. Indianapolis, followed by a funeral service at noon in the funeral home. Burial to follow at New Bethel Baptist Church 8936 Southeastern Ave. Wanamaker, Indiana 46239.
