Karen Yvette Taylor

Karen worked several jobs: Federal Home Loan Bank as a Proof Operator, Aspire Indiana as a Secretary, Indianapolis Academy of Excellence School as a Secretary. Karen also worked as a security guard before retiring.

Karen is survived by: Three brothers Otha Taylor, Arizona, Thomas (Janice) Taylor and Pastor Darryl Taylor both from Indianapolis. Three sisters, Denise Murray, Anita (Marlon) English and Michelle Taylor all from Indianapolis.

Karen was preceded by her parents, Thompson Taylor and Mary Elizabeth (Johnston) Taylor, sisters Kathryn Jones, Elizabeth Posey, and Jeannie Swygert.

A visitation for Karen will be held at Paraclete Life Church, 5630 E. 16th St., Indianapolis, IN 46218 on August 25, 2023 from 4PM to 8PM. A service will take place the following day on August 26, 2023 at 11AM. Karen will be laid to rest at Crown Hill Cemetery.
