

He was born July 10, 1930 in Minneapolis, MN. In August 1956, he was married to Margie. He finished his bachelor’s degree at the University of Minnesota and a master’s degree at Purdue University. After serving in the Navy, he worked as an aeronautical engineer for over 50 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents Julian and Dorothy, and his wife Margie. He is survived by his four children, Jeanne (Phil) Kouwe of Mooresville, NC, John (Cindy) Garzon of Fishers, IN, Jeff (Sandy) Garzon of Minneapolis, MN, and Jill (Jim) Pinkston of Fishers, IN; eleven grandchildren; and two great-grandsons.
He will be remembered as a faithful and steady father, grandfather, and friend, a hard worker, an avid local sports fan and musician. He enjoyed spending time at the lake and being wherever family was.
His funeral service will be 2 pm Tuesday, May 16 at Faith Church, 9125 N College Ave., Indianapolis, IN with visitation from 1-2 pm.
