81, passed away on February 18, 2011. Born September 7, 1929 in Indianapolis, he was the son of Joseph W. and Helen Buennagel Knue.
After serving in the U.S. Air Force, in the weather detachment department, Joe was a salesman for Brulin Corp. for 37 years. He was a member of the American Legion Kennington Post, the Sacred Heart League and Christ the King Catholic Church. He was an accomplished bowler and enjoyed pitching horseshoes. He loved a good game of poker and trips to the casinos.
Joe is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Ruth L. Harris Knue, children Joseph M. Knue, Tucson, AZ, Anne Knue Franz, Fishers, IN, Patrick M. (Teresa) Knue, Orange Beach, AL and Kerry Eusey (Patrick) Gibbons, Carmel, IN. He is also survived by his sister Rosemary Crowder, Greenfield, IN., grandchildren Joe Franz, Rick, Mike and Tom Eusey, Gina Cerulli, and great-grandson Jordan Franz.
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 22, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary, 2126 East 71st Street. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, February 23 at 11:00 am at Christ the King Catholic Church, 1827 Kessler Blvd., E. Dr., followed by interment at St. Joseph Cemetery.
