Joey Chapman was born in Indianapolis, Indiana January 16, 1928, and went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 21, 2023. She was a Kappa Kappa Gamma at Butler University, and married her high school sweetheart, Ralph Chapman, in 1948, celebrating 56 years together. They were lifelong residents of Carmel, Indiana, owning Chapman Company Real Estate and Chapman Booksellers. Joey enjoyed studying the Bible, watching sports, playing cards, and was an avid reader, loved swimming, water skiing, and walking. Joey was a member of PEO, Chapter Q, Creative Living Bible Study, and Zionsville Fellowship Church. She is survived by her three children: Dan (Audrey), Terry (Cindy), and Robin Hartman (Mark), 10 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life service will be held at Zionsville Fellowship Church on January 13, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. Memorial contributions can be made to Fort Wilderness Ministries, P.O. Box 715, McNaughton, Wisconsin, 54543.
