My heart breaks like I’ve lost a special friend. I met Jerri through a project at work and her cheerful laugh, uplifting voice, her caring word of encouragement is still so clear in my mind that I feel like she’s still a phone call away. I remember the warmth I felt when talking to Jerri. 

I pray for the family and that they are in the Lord’s embrace as Jerri is in the Father’s home.

Jerri was my friend,  my light in a dark day.  She could make you smile when you didn't want to and when she hugged you,  you could feel the love.  My friend Jerri will be missed always! Jessica, I'm so sorry for your loss! I want you to know if you need anything I'm here and I will help you however I can! I'm just a message away! Jerri, I love you and will miss you always!! 😔 

I worked with Jerri at DFAS on a process improvement project. She was a great example of happiness and lifting those around her!  She always seemed to have a smile on her face no matter what was going on with her health challenges.  

No pictures to share...but, one of my favorite memories is of the time you, me, Grandma and your Mom (Aunt Connie) were on vacation... traveling back roads only because your Mom would NEVER travel expressways.  We encountered a very interesting side of the road "biblical" museum.... complete with many "mannicuns" decorated with wigs and cotton ball beards...depicting many scenes from the Bible...how fun, how utterly ridiculous it was. But, we had a lot of laughs at the effort.❤️

My sincere condolences to the family for thier loss.   We have truly lost a shining star and smile that would always brighten your day.  Jerri always had a kind word when I spoke with her.  While we were teleworking during COVID-19 she would instant message me.  Just to check on me to see how I was doing.  I  really appreciated her checking in with me.   She surely will be missed.  May the Lord provide the family with whatever comforts them in their time of need.

We are so sorry to learn of Jerri's passing.  Even though we had lost touch with each other she was always in our prayers.  She had a good heart and her love for Jessie and her animals was admirable.  May she rest in the peace and love of Jesus Christ our Lord and savior. 

  Wow, … Jerri was the fast-paced and usually rushing kind’a of worker while I was the turtle-paced cruiser and that’s one of many things we used to laugh about.  I’d send her an IM saying something crazy like “I hear you over there typing like a down-hill box-car derby race, … stop it, lol!”  Solemn truth be told; every now and then she’d send me IM’s complaining about someone's chit-chatting.  I’d offer to push’em down the stairs and she’d usually say something nice like “Well Steve, … not today, … not just yet, lol.”   Jerri knew her job, she dug into the information and could break it down to you very well. She made what we called those “easy and correctable mistakes” due to just rushing while I’d - being me - laugh and reminder her to just slow down. Jerri was a good person, always willing to help and especially share her knowledge with everyone. I’m going to miss her, … may she rest in God’s Power and Peace.  Old School Steve.

I miss you so much. I miss your laugh. I miss your hugs. I miss your kisses.  I miss your smile. I miss having coffee with you in the morning after snuggles. And I miss all the amazing conversations we had. You were taken from me too damn soon and I will never understand why. But I will always love you Mama Bear and I long for the day when I can see you again and wrap my arms around you. That day can't come soon enough because without you my world is missing its light.
