Jeffrey D. Spaulding

Jeffrey Dale Spaulding was born in Indianapolis, IN on April 2, 1959. Jeff passed away on September 23, 2014. His Father Jack Odell Spaulding passed away over 2 years ago on August 2, 2012 and his Mother, Jayne Lee Spaulding passed away on December 10,1994. Most of his friends and his family new him as Jeff. Jeff was married to Maureen Spaulding who passed away on September 24,1994. Jeff attended elementary school and middle school at Emma Donnan Public School #72 in Indianapolis and also attended high school at Emmerich Manual High School, and graduated in 1977. Jeff was a very gifted athlete and played football and basketball at the Garfield Park Pal Club. Jeff also played baseball in the Garfield Park Little League and played most of his games at Emhart Field on the south side of Indianapolis. Jeff was on several Championship Teams and was also on the All Star Team, he lettered in Wrestling at Manual High School was also won the City Championship in the 112 lb. weight class. After graduating from high school, Jeff joined the United States Air Force. Unfortunately, he was injured in basic training and was unable to continue his career in the Air Force. Jeff received an Honorable Discharge from the Air Force in September, 1977. Jeff then began working in the Floor Covering Industry. He worked in almost every aspect of the Floor Covering Industry including Management and Sales. He lived in Darlington, IN from 1999 - 2012 and was the Store Manager for Zahn's Floor Covering in Crawfordsville, IN for nearly 10 years. Jeff returned to Indianapolis, IN in 2012 and lived on the south side of Indianapolis at the time of his death. Jeff is survived by his Daughter; Halee Spaulding, Sister; Sandra Spaulding, Brother; Jack Spaulding and Sister In Law; Alison Spaulding. He is also survived by Nieces, Savanna Spaulding and Aimee Beckstead and Nephew, Ian Beckstead. A memorial gathering will be held on October 3, 2014 from 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at Little and Sons Stop Eleven Chapel. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 6:00 pm.
