The Lord knows how much you can bear when the burdens and load get heavy he knows oh yes he knows just how much you can bear I will lift up my eyes to the hills where my help comes from for my help coming from the Lord which made heaven and Earth he will not suffer foot to be removed he did keep Israel would neither slumber no sleep the Lord is the keep up on that right hand I was sad to hear about Reverend Williamson was my friend and my brother God bless the family and keep them in his care humbly submitted doctor Leon L Woods and the family of greater White Stone missionary Baptist Church 3611 East 34th Street for the First Lady is Stephanie Woods

It was my privilege to meet JC in 1999 when Billy Graham came to Indianapolis. We both served on the Executive Committee. Before the Crusade, the committee met away from home and church to experience a Prayer Retreat together. I shared a room with JC. The time with him was indeed a spiritual experience for me...what a godly  man of prayer.

Following the Crusade, he invited me to come and fill his pulpit on a Sunday morning. We were invited back on a Sunday evening when I was to bring along a number of our musicians to provide music for our worship.

A young couple in our church committed to JC's church to a one-year membership to teach our Discipleship Training Program. Their lives were greatly enriched.

In the years to follow, JC and I maintained contact. It was a blessing just to talk with him by phone. He often shared with me his concerns for his church and we committed to pray for each other.

Words are inadequate to express the influence JC had on my life and ministry. He was a hero to the faith, solid, and consistent. He will indeed be missed. I plan to spend future time with him. Not in this world but in the world to come.

To the Williamson family may the God of all comfort be with all of you during this time of sorrow. May Revelation 21:3&4 bring you comfort.
