70, of Indianapolis, passed away on May 13, 2014. He was born in Chicago, IL on May 25, 1943 to James and Leota (Crotty) Lee. Jim graduated from St. Ignatius High School and DePaul University in Chicago. He served in the Illinois Army National Guard. After college Jim worked for the U.S. Government then Montgomery Ward. He retired as a senior vice president of development with Simon Property Group. He was a member of Holy Spirit at Geist Catholic Church, a former member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church where he was also a lector. Jim is also a member of ICSC, The Network, Broadmoor County Club, and Alpha Beta Gamma Fraternity. He was once active in coaching soccer, football, as well as a Cub Scout and Boy Scout leader. He enjoyed golf, traveling, fishing, playing cards at Hillcrest Country Club and collecting toy soldiers. Jim is survived by his wife Jeannette (Walloch) Lee, son James W. Lee, several cousins, a niece, nephews and dear friends.. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 23 from 4 – 8 pm at Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary. Funeral Mass will be Saturday, May 24 at 11 am at Holy Spirit at Geist Catholic Church. Additional visitation will be Monday, May 26 from 4 – 8 pm at Ahlgrim and Sons Funeral Home in Schaumburg, Illinois, with a Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, May 27 at 10 am at St. Marcelline Catholic Church in Schaumburg. Burial will be at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, Illinois. Memorials in Jim’s name may be made to Little Sisters of the Poor. Memorial tributes may be offered at www.feeneyhornakkeystone.com.
