James Wilson Curry, Jr.

James W Curry Jr passed away on Wednesday February 2, 2022 after a long battle with COVID in Riley Hospital of Indianapolis. He was 15. James Jr was born on August 23, 2006 in Indianapolis to Kimberly Huddleston and James W Curry Sr and lived the last 13 years in Columbus, Indiana, attending CSA New Tech HS as a Freshman this year. James Jr was passionate about PC and console gaming with his friends, discovering new and old music on YouTube and watching movies and playing games with his family. James Jr was also looking forward to learning to drive and studying computers in college.

James Jr loved his family deeply and looked up to his older siblings tremendously. He had a shy, quiet demeanor but when he spoke, it was usually the funniest thing you’ve ever heard.

James Jr was preceded in death by his grandparents Barb Faith, Jay Curry Sr, Michael Karnes & Karen Guthrie and uncle Marshall Curry.

James Jr is survived by his parents, bonus father Oshu Huddleston, siblings Braeden Karnes (24), Savannah (Anthony) Fassoth (22) and bonus siblings Kas Huddleston (23) and Max Huddleston (20), bonus grandparents Terry Guthrie and Jean and Gene Huddleston, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be held Monday February 7, 2022 from 3pm-8pm at Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary.
