James Allen Crockett, age 71, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2020. James was born November 15, 1948 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He worked for Pacesetter in home improvement. James was known as a family man. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, children, grand children and great grandchildren. He liked spending time floating down the river, doing sidewalk chalk art with the grandkids, and waking the kids up early and showing up for coffee and breakfast. He enjoyed watching Jerry Springer and The History Channel. His pride and joy was his 66 Super Sport Impala. His greatest love was "Family". He is preceded in death by his parents Austin and Atha Black Crockett, son Todd Crockett. James is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years, Jeanne Pacey Crockett, children; Kent Crockett, Melody (Dana) Catt, Jacki Buck, David (Jen) Pitcher, grandchildren; Tawny, Josh, Kati, Kylie, Courtney, Sydny, Logan, and Chloe, great grandchildren; Alize, Aubrey, Ayden, David, Brantley and Roman.
