Irma Jane Meyer

Irma Jane Meyer, 80, of Indianapolis, entered into eternal rest on November 5, 2022. She was born in Indianapolis, IN on April 4, 1942 to the late Herbert and Alpha Moeller. Spending time with her family and friends was something she valued most in life. She was her grandchildren’s biggest fan, always attending their various activities and sporting events. Irma was quite the traveler and being in Florida during the winter with her friends brought her a lot of happiness. She would spend every summer up north with her family for the last fifty years. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Meyer. She is survived by her children, Steve (Mariann) Meyer, Sandy (Dave) Schmidlin, and Sherri (Tim) Back; grandchildren, Victoria (Zack) Hadley, Nathan Schmidlin, Mitchell (Taylor) Meyer, Nick Schmidlin, Alexandria Meyer, Neil Schmidlin, Katie Back, Morgan Back, Avery Back, and Carson Back; along with her brothers, Bill (Donna) Moeller and Bob (Linda) Moeller. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2022 from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Little & Sons Funeral Home – Indianapolis, 4901 E. Stop 11 Rd., Indianapolis, IN 46237. The Memorial Service will be held on Friday, November 11, 2022 at 11:00 AM with Memorial Visitation one hour prior to the Memorial Service at the funeral home. A private burial will take place at a later date in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
