Harold Ray Day Jr.

59, of Beech Grove, passed away on November 7, 2015 in his home, surrounded by his family. Harold was a 1974 graduate of Southport High School and was employed as the Controller for the BMV. He had served the Republican Party for 25 years as a Precinct Committeeman and Ward Chairman. He was also a member of the Beech Grove Library Board. Harold loved to work in his yard, travel, and spend time with his family.

Harold is survived by his wife, Susie; his children, Kevin Day, Kimberly Day and Casey Stephon; his grandchildren, Kevin Jr., Molly and Brody; his sisters, Norma McQueen and Judy (Kenny) Kerst; his brothers-in-law, Jack and Roger Reese; his aunt, Betty Hussion; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Gertrude and Harold Day; his mother-in-law, Phyllis Reese; and his brothers-in-law, Dave McQueen and Ned Reese.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 11, 2015 from 4-8 p.m. in Little and Sons Stop 11 Chapel with a Funeral Service on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at 10 a.m. in St. Paul's Hermitage.
