Hal T. Hiatt

Hal was born on March 27,1936 to Ralph N. and Esther A. Hiatt in Indianapolis Indiana

Hal attended Broad Ripple High school class of 1954. He went on to attend and graduated from Hanover College with a Bachelor's in history, and was a member of the Army Reserves from 1959 - 1965.

Hal worked as a social worker with the Indianapolis welfare department for over 30 years. He was a devout Christian who loved history, reading, golfing, and his family.

Hal leaves behind his former wife and great friend GayAnn Hiatt of Brownsburg, sons; Les Hiatt of Franklin, IN, and Andrew Hiatt of Cloverdale, IN. Grandsons; Austin, Brandon, and Elijah and great grandson Aaron.

A visitation for Hal will be held Thursday, January 25, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Crown Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery, 700 W. 38th St., Indianapolis, Indiana 46208, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM.
