Glenda accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior at a young age, and was a member of Greater Canaan Baptist Church and Jones Tabernacle AME Zion Church.
Glenda was a graduate of Indianapolis Public Schools, Joyce Kilmer #69 and Broad Ripple High School Class of 1976. She later attended IUPUI pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education.
Glenda was a dedicated hard worker never missing a day of work. She worked in the manufacturing industry for more than 20 years as an employee with Thomas and Skinner for 5 years and Chrysler Transmission in Kokomo, Indiana for 17 years until her retirement.
Glenda had a witty and funny personality and loved to tell jokes. She was an avid sports enthusiast, she played softball and bowled on leagues for many years. She was also instrumental in getting her family members involved in sports which ultimately led to them playing together on various teams.
Glenda was committed to her family. The door to her home was always open and her many nieces and nephews were always welcome. They cherished spending time with her as she was well respected for the love she shared.
Glenda transitioned to be with the Lord on Tuesday March 1, 2022. She was preceded in death by her daughter Tomika Holland, parents; Thedis & Berlin Morris, brother Cecil Morris Sr., and sister-in-law Charlene Morris.
Glenda leaves to cherish her memory, Son, Tamario Morris; Grandchildren, KeMari, Sahmya, Xavier, Zane and Zahki Morris; 5 Sisters; Joyce Barnett, Linda McTush, twin sister Brenda (Quintin) McChristian, Janice (Rodney) White, Jeannetta (Patrick) White; 4 Brothers; Cletus (Cynthia), Cedric, Kevin, Keith (Arlene) Morris; long-time caregiver sister-in-law Beverly Morris; 27 nieces & nephews; 46 great nieces & nephews; 25 great-great nieces & nephews; and a host of other relatives and close friends.
