George E. Love

George Edward Love was born on October 8, 1944 in Denmark Tennessee to the late Silas and Bertha Love. He was known as "Ed" by close family members and friends. Ed attended West High school in Jackson Tennessee and graduated in 1942. Upon graduation from high school he relocated to Indianapolis, Indiana. It was there that he married his high school sweetheart Rolene Merriweather.

He professed his love for Christ at an early age and was a member at The Church of The Living God in Indianapolis Indiana. It was there that his love for God grew even more, as he dedicated his time to a host of men's auxiliaries including the men's choir.

George Love was a very dedicated and hard worker. He worked for Rexnord-Link Belt for many years, retiring after 37 years, while maintaining his hard work and dedication to his family business he co-founded, Love's Cleaning Service.

Ed was a great Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, family member and friend to the many who knew and loved him.

George Edward Love received his angel wings and went home to be with the Lord on Friday March 23, 2018.

He is survived by his lovely wife of 52 years Rolene Love; one son Michael (Mellannise); one daughter Angela Love; 2 grandchildren Michael Jr., and Mikiya Love. Ed is survived by four siblings Henry (Marie), Samuel, Neely and Rosemary (Henry) in addition to a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. He is also predeceased by siblings Silas Jr., (Patricia), Josie Talley and Brent Love.

While Ed will be greatly missed we will always be thankful for the many years that we were able to spend with him.
