Florence Whitmer

Florence worked at Community Hospital East for 50 years prior to retiring in March 2005. She enjoyed her work and many friends there. She had a spirit of wanderlust and sass with a smile that would light up any room. Florence spent her Sunday evenings listening to music and dancing the night away with friends. Her days were spent at Beech Grove Senior Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents Henry & Mildred Caldwell. She was also preceded in death by her Loving husband Carroll Whitmer and two of her children, Judith Sheroan and Everett Sheroan. She is survived by Daughter Yvonne (Scott) Keen, Stepchildren Connie Bass, Cliff and Chris Whitmer, Sister Sheron Montoya, Brother Howard Greene, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandson. She loved spending time with her best buddies Isaiah and Jaxson. Services will be held Sunday April 23rd with visitation from 11am to 2pm and service 2pm - 3pm. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the United Cerebral Palsy Camp Fund and/or Beech Grove Senior Citizens center.
