Eva, also known as "Granny" to all she knew, loved not only her family but the extended family she created by caring for anyone in need around her. She was a caregiver to children imparting her love of baking and cooking to those who wanted to share in her passion. She enjoyed attending church, studying her bible and singing hymns. Her bible and hymnal were always kept nearby at home. Eva would often share words of encouragement to everyone she encountered. When Eva wasn't busy being “granny” to all, she would enjoy bowling from time to time.
Someone once said "A mothers hug last long after she lets go." Eva was a mother, a "granny", and a strong individual to those around her. Her strength and love she imparted to those who knew her will truly be the hug that can be felt forever.
Eva is survived by; daughter Cheryl Mitchell; daughter Beverly (Curtis) Hudson; and daughter Paula Williams; brother Clyde (Doris) Fitzgerald, brother Calvin (Alice) Fitzgerald, sister Ernestine Harris and sister-in-law Ida Fitzgerald.
