Emmett M. Wiseman

A lifelong resident of Rocky Ripple, Emmett attended North Central High School, then Murray State University in Kentucky, where he met and married his wife of 57 years, Sharron Powers Wiseman.

After returning to his hometown, he worked in quality control, human resources and sales while raising two daughters and countless beloved pets. Emmett was a loyal friend with a huge heart and always quick with a smile, a laugh and a bad joke or sarcastic comment. But above all else, he was a devoted husband and father with a fierce love of family. He would tell anyone how much he worshipped all of his girls. He will be greatly missed but many happy and funny memories will comfort those he has left behind.

Emmett was preceded in death by parents, Kenneth and Ruth, and brother, Robert. He is survived by wife, Sharron and daughters, Shannon and Cynthia.

Services are scheduled for Thursday, April 14, 2022, at Crown Hill Funeral Home, with visitation at 1:00pm and a chapel service to follow at 2:00pm.
