Elsa Elsie Roach

Sister Elsa Roach was born July 11, 1924 and raised in Hamilton Bequia St. Vincent and the Grenadines, The daughter of Augstina Pennniston and John Roache. She received her education in Bequia St. Vincent. She moved to Trinidad in 1961, where she lived most of her adult life. Elsa was a Domestic worker, she was known for her cooking. Elsa was a very good cook. Elsa moved to the United States in 1994 where she live in New York and LasVegas. She moved to Indiana to live with her son Michael where she lived until her death.

Elsa Elsie Roach dedicated her life to Jehovah God in 1995, she served faithfully as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses until her death on Feb. 13, 2015 at the age of 90. She always gave praise and thanks to her God Jehovah. Elsa looked forward to seeing the earth becoming a Paradise where there would be no more sickness or death. REV: 21: 3&4.

Elsa Elsie Roach was preceded in death by her parents, Augstina Penniston and John Roache; her brothers Alberta Penniston and Evrod Penniston, and sister Lilha Dember. She is survived by her children; Earl Samuel Roache and Marilyn Roache of St. Vincent, Mary Agnes Roache and Richard Roache of Trinidad, and Michael (Anita) Roache of Indianapolis, Indiana. Brothers St.Clair Simmons, Matthew “Bobo” Simmons and Patrick Simmons; sisters Silva McKree and Elizabeth Penniston; niece Michelle Penniston Giddins; grandchildren, Kadeem Roache, Atiba John Roache, Rochelle (Roache) Lanza, Nadis (Roache) Grant, Cleo Roache, Vashka Roache, Amelia Roache, Eleacia Roache, and Aneisha Penniston; 12 great grandchildren: In-Laws Robert and Pearline Cannady, in addition to a host of other family members and friends.

Words cannot begin to express how much she will be missed.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday Feb. 21st at 4:00 PM at Family Funeral Care, 5791 Rockville Rd. Indianapolis, In. with a memorial gathering from 2:00- until time of service.
