Elizabeth Ann’s zest for life will be remembered with love, long after her passing.
She confessed her faith in God at an early age and was baptized at Northside New Era Baptist Church. She was a devoted Christian that always had bible inspirational quotes surrounding every aspect of her life, which she passed along to everyone.
Elizabeth Ann was born on August 10, 1952 to Carl & Henrine Davis in Indianola, Mississippi. She was the second child of seven and went to James Whitcomb Riley School #43. Liz graduated from Broad Ripple High School in 1970. She also attended Porter Business College.
Ann touched everyone she worked with through her kind and loving spirit. She was always available with a comforting shoulder and a smile that lights up a room. She gave forty-one years and ten months as an accountant of faithful service to the United States Government (DFAS) Defense Finance and Accounting Service. Liz also left her smile when she worked on other jobs, such as Service Merchandise, Value City, JC Penny’s and Target where she loved to bake goodies and bring them in.
Elizabeth Ann was involved in the Asante Children Theatre, Madam Walker Theatre Center, WFYI Radio station, Catch the Stars with Tamika Catchings, and many other organizations.
Welcoming her to heaven are her parents Carl Davis (2011), Henrine Davis Holden (1997), sister Stephanie Penny (1994), and brother Kelvin Davis (1984), and step-mother Kathlyn Davis (2021).
Elizabeth is survived by her stepfather, Lloyd Holden, two sisters, Glenda Davis and Karla Terry (James) of Hoffman Estates, Illinois, two brothers, Carl Davis (Carol) and Steven Davis (Sharon), step-sister Stacy Cosby, nephews, nieces a host of relatives, friends and New Era church family.
