Edward " Ed" Emmert, age 62, of Clayton, Indiana passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2024. Ed was born in Louisville, Kentucky the son of the late Edward S. and Marian C. (Campbell) Emmert. He graduated from Cascade High School with the Class of 1980. He had been a Hazelwood Volunteer Fireman and EMT for several years. He was a meat cutter at several area grocery stores including Marsh, Harpers, Schwabs and early in his career at Stilesville Market where he was the store manager.
Ed is survived by his sister, Delinda Lumpkin and many friends.
A visitation for Ed will be held Monday, September 9, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Family Funeral Care-Rockville West, 5791 Rockville Rd, Indianapolis, Indiana 46224. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Hazelwood Christian Church, 9947 S. County Road 0, Clayton, Indiana 46118.
Ed will be laid to rest in Center Valley Cemetery, Clayton, Indiana.
