Edna Lorraine Tolliver

Mrs. Edna Lorraine Tolliver, daughter of Thomas A. Turner and Gladys M. Ealy, was born on April 18, 1940, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Edna attended Indianapolis Public Schools and graduated from Crispus Attucks High School. Edna professed a hope in Christ, and at an early age and was baptized. Throughout her teen years she attended several Churches. Edna was joined Holy Matrimony to Mr. Floyd Tolliver, Jr., in June 1964. To this union two children were born, Floyd III and Teresa. In 1964, she started working for the United States Post Office, where she worked for thirty-seven (37) years, retiring in 2001. Edna's journey was complete and the Lord called her to rest for her labor was done, on Tuesday, September 10, 2019. Preceding her in death, were her parents and grandparents. She leaves to mourn her death: her husband of fifty-five (55) years, Floyd Tolliver, Jr., her daughter, Teresa, her son, Floyd III. Sisters, Deborah Farino (George), Helen Coleman of Houston, TX, Dr. Joyce Battle (Stephen Marks) of Las Vegas, NV, brother, Kenneth Battle (Sharon). Two grandchildren, Justin and Bryana Tolliver, a special cousin, Jeffie Johnson and a host of nieces, nephew, cousins and friends.
