90, of Indianapolis, departed this life January 8, 2013. She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on March 10, 1922 to John and Margaret (Gallagher) Callahan. She graduated from St. Catherine Elementary School and St. Mary’s Academy. Dorothy was a sales associate for LS Ayers for 44 years, retiring in 2006. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Dorothy is survived by her daughters Janet (Mike) Doody, Jeanne (John) Hannan, sister Mary Ann (Gerald) Dickey, grandchildren: Gabe and Jacob Hannan, Jenny Trippeer, Sarah Morehead and Michelle Coffer and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert M. Ferguson, brothers Jack and Smokey Callahan, sister Catherine Jordan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday January 11 at 11 am at St. Augustine Home at 2345 West 86th Street, Indianapolis. Visitation will be Thursday from 4 – 8 pm at St. Augustine Home.
