Donna Civils

Donna Civils was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on April 15, 1955, to the late Bertha Shed and James Ingram. Donna graduated from Crispus Attacks and later worked for the State of Indiana until she retired in 1994.

Donna is preceded in death by her late husband, William Civils and her grandson, Timothy Barnett, Jr.

Donna enjoyed watching movies and reading. She would often play bingo with the residents of her apartment complex as a hobby. Donna resided in Indianapolis, Indiana until she joined her daughter in Daytona Beach, Florida in 2021. Donna enjoyed visiting the beach and traveling to surrounding Florida cities to shop and sightsee.

Donna leaves to cherish her memories of her daughter Tayon (Brandon) Reynolds of Daytona Beach, FL and son William (Danielle) Civils of Indianapolis, IN. She will also be missed and cherished by her grandchildren; Paris, Joesph Sr., China, Brazil, Faith and Justice, 4 great-grandsons; Xzavier, Kendrick, Joesph Jr., and Tim, 3 great-granddaughters; Jahzara, Joselle and Elodie. 2 sisters; Kathy Laswell of Atlanta, Georgia and Mary Curry of Birmingham, Alabama. She leaves a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends

A memorial gathering for Donna will be held Saturday, October 12, 2024, from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Crown Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery, 700 W. 38th St., Indianapolis, Indiana 46208, followed by a memorial service at 12:00 PM.
