Donald D. Seaman, 83, passed away peacefully on April 21. He joined the Marine Corps after high school, served 3 years and wore his Marine Corps jacket proudly. He then completed 4 years of college at the University of Nebraska Omaha, sold insurance, the entered his lifetime career as a Special Agent for the FBI. After retiring at age of 57, he continued his FBI service as a background investigator.
Donald was married to Vivian for 57 years. He is survived by his wife, Vivian, 4 children, 13 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 3 adopted grandchildren. Son Phil Seaman with his wife Jennifer and their children Phillip (Katie), Nicolaas, Jessica, Katherine and Caroline. Daughter Danielle Hettle with her children Wesley and Clayton. Daughter Christine Abercrombie with her children Isaiah Bradley and Kain Abercrombie. Daughter Suzanne Parker and her children Makenna, Payton, Jayden and Zadie Benningfield. Great grand-children are Gabriel Winas, Avarie Marie and Kai’ryn Seaman, Vicente Navarro and Kash Abercrombie. Adopted grandchildren are Anthony, Dominic and Vincent Ferrucci. The family also fostered 110 foster babies. He was devoted to his faith, family, his country, the Marines and the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
Visitation April 27 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church from 6-8pm with the Divine Mercy recited at 7:45. The funeral will be at OLMC Thursday at 11am with visitation 1 hour before.
