Dianne accepted Christ at an early age and was a proud member of St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church.
Dianne started her family and career in 1969, giving birth to her first son Thierry and taking a position as a mail handler with the United States Postal Service in Indianapolis, IN. Within ten years, Dianne extended her family and career, giving birth to her sons; Willie and Richard and becoming a Mail Handler Union Steward.
Dianne continued to excel concurrently at motherhood and her career, becoming Branch President of Indianapolis P & DC and the Recording Secretary for Local 304, which represents Mail Handlers throughout Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky. Dianne loved to travel the world and was a devoted grandmother to her three grandchildren. Dianne was well known for her multitude of charitable donations, selfless heart, and strong will. Dianne leaves a legacy of love, strength, and devotion.
Dianne is preceded in death by her mother, Jessie Boyd, father, Willie Parks, brothers; Willie (Pete) Parks, Richard (Ricky) Parks, Joseph (Joe) McKinney, Grandson, Richard Turner and best Friend, William Gayle.
Dianne is survived by her sons; Thierry Baptiste (Man), Willie Williams, Richard Williams, granddaughters; Shy’Brea Williams, Bre’yana Williams, best friends; Patricia, Randy, Greg and Bell and she cherished her very special relationships with each of her nieces and nephews.
