13 of Indianapolis formerly of Kokomo passed away on August 19, 2012 at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis.

Destiny was born on September 13, 1998 the daughter of Calvin D. Quarles and Regina Scales Quarles in Kokomo, Indiana. She was a 7th grade student at Northwest High school in Indianapolis. She was a member of Freedom Missionary Baptist Church, Indianapolis. She attended Kokomo Center School in Kokomo and IPS School #42 and Northwest High school in Indianapolis. She participated in the girl scouts, praise dancing at school 42 and choir. She loved music (mindless behavior was her favorite group). She had a very generous heart and was loving towards everyone. She will always be remembered for her constant smile and hugs.

She is survived by her parents, Regina Anitia Scales-Quarles, Calvin D. Quarles both of Indianapolis, sisters, Queenneirda Quarles, Alicia Quarles, Ashley Quarles brother, Calvin D. Scales, maternal Grandmother (Juanita Murphy Scales all of Indianapolis, Maternal great mother, Dorothy Murphy, Paternal grandmother, Betty Jean Quarles both of Kokomo, 2 nephews & niece; a host of uncles, aunts and cousins and many friends.

Services will be held on Friday, 12 Noon at Zion Tabernacle, with visitation from 10 A.M. at the church and on Thursday, from 5 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Northwest High School, Indianapolis.
