David Perry Sears, 62, of Indianapolis, passed away on October 8, 2023.
David was born in Indianapolis to Donald and Evelyn Sears on October 27, 1960. He attended school at North Central High School and also graduated from IVY Tech. David worked as a vacation specialist for Resort Condominiums International for the last 17 years.
David served in the United States Marine Corps and was a proud American.
He loved traveling with his wife, Tina, and was always planning their next adventure. David was an avid cook and enjoyed hosting dinner parties for his family and friends. His other interests included fishing, antique shopping, genealogical research, wine tasting, photography, stamp and coin collecting, and visiting historical sites.
David was preceded in death by both his parents and grandparents.
David is survived by his wife, Tina Eissler; sons, David Paul and Aaron; brother, James; nieces, Abigail and Grace Sears; Uncle and Aunt, Edward and Debbie Becker; and multiple cousins.
Visitation will be on October 21, 2023 from 10:00a to 1:00p at Crown Hill Funeral Home. The celebration of life will follow the visitation with burial afterward.
Memorials may be given to the Humane Society of Indianapolis.
The family of David wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Viney Mathavan, all the other physicians and nursing staff at St. Vincent 86th Street in both the medical and surgical intensive care units as well as to the staff of St. Vincent Seton Specialty Hospital for the exceptional and highly professional care provided to him.
