Danny Lynn Young

Danny L. Young, 76, of Indianapolis, went home to his Master on December 19,2023. He was born on November 11, 1947 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Archie and Roxie (Keith) Young. He retired from Macy’s where he fitted men’s suits and clothing. Prior to Macy’s he worked in retail in men’s clothing, groceries, and owner of a knife shop for years. He was a charter member of the Circle City Knife Collectors. He was a graduate with a Bachelors from the School of Business at Indiana University.

His passion was in service to God by assisting others in need. He was the Grocery Manager and a Board Member at Servant’s Heart of Indy (food pantry). He always was there to help others in the community.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Denise; and brothers, Bobby and Garry.

Danny is survived by his brother, Paul (Karen) Young; a niece, Anetra; a nephew, P. Douglas; and 5 great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2023 from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM with the Funeral Service to follow at 4:00 PM at Little & Sons Funeral Home – Indianapolis, 4901 E. Stop 11 Rd., Indianapolis, IN 46237. A private burial will be held in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens – Greenwood, IN.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Servant’s Heart of Indy to help families in need (Danny’s passion).
