Charles Howard Pinson was born on November 18, 1921 in Henderson KY. He passed March 30, 2017 in Avon, IN. He was preceded in death by his parents, Byron and Mary Pinson, brothers Ernest Pinson, Robert Pinson and Harold Pinson, and sisters Brenda Humber, Irene Smith, and Mary Louise Ternes. his wife Elizabeth "Bette" Pinson and step-son Paul Henry Ploesser. He is survived by his son Charles Joseph Pinson, daughter Mary Beth Birney, step-son Gary Ploesser and step-daughter Linda Pinson, 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Among his many great accomplishments in life. Charles was a P-38 fighter pilot in WWII and served his country honorably in the Army Air Corps. He will be buried with full military honors at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO on Friday, June 23, 2017 at 10:30 am
