Charles Lester, 83, passed away December 12, 2015 in his Indianapolis home. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Winifred Lester. Charles graduated from Crispus Attucks High School in 1949. He was drafted into the U.S. Marines in 1952 and retired in 1977. During his tenure, he held many responsible positions in my Military Occupational Specialty (MOS), which was Supply Administration. His most memorable tours of duty were the ones as his career were coming to a close: Headquarter USMC Washington, D.C. for 3 ½ years; Barstow, CA, three tours spanning ten years at Marine Corp Supply Center, Barstow; Supply Chief Maint. Bn. 3rd FSR 3rd Marine Division, Okinawa, Japan.
