Obituary of Bryant Douglas Grant Clark
Celebration of Life of Our Dear, Bryant Douglas Grant Clark Bryant Douglas Grant Clark was born on August 15, 1959, in Indianapolis, Indiana, the eldest child of Walter and Shar'Ron Kay Clark. Bryant matriculated through his early education at Benjamin Bosse High School (Evansville, IN), Central High School (Evansville, IN) and Northwest High School (Indianapolis, IN), where he received his degree. Bryant was a track star in high school. Everyone knew that Bryant was a gifted track and field athlete. He set records after records and displayed a natural talent that led to him to receiving an athletic scholarship to Ball State University. Bryant continued his track career at the collegiate level. After attending college, Bryant enlisted in the United States Marine Corp 1979-1982. He became a father to Todd Mondre Williams who preceded him in death. He met and married Adrina Giles and to this union they had one son, Bryant Douglas Grant Clark, Jr. Bryant’s family continued to grow with daughter Aurkaishia Marshai Rankin and six beautiful grandchildren: Bryant, Roy, Prince, Juelz, Aubrey, and Ronin. Following his military service, Bryant excelled as a Production Manager at Keller-Crescent in Evansville and Indianapolis. His charismatic ability to connect with people resonated throughout his life and was visible in his career. During his career at Keller Cresent, he was certified by OKI and entrusted to manage 150+ employees. He was highly regarded by his staff, and that admiration followed him throughout his life. He remained employed with Keller Cresent for 18 years. Prior to his illness, Bryant was employed at St. Vincent Hospital Food Services in Carmel, Indiana. He always took immense pride in his work as second shift team lead/supervisor for six years. He worked with a servant’s heart. Bryant loved to dress to the nines! It was clear that his mother Shar'Ron and maternal Grandmother Willia Bee’s love for fashion carried over to Bryant. He loved nice clothing, shoes and jewelry. And he always wore them with class and style. Whenever you saw Bryant, his outfit matched from head to toe! Bryant’s favorite pastime was spending time with family. He loved fishing, singing, and teasing his nieces and nephews. Bryant was a great protector of his siblings. His family was his place of peace, love, laughter, and support. Many of Bryant’s loved ones always said that he was very giving and would give the shirt off of his own back for anyone that needed it.
