Bridget Joan (Holtzberg) Passey passed away unexpectedly in her home on Thursday, April 22nd in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born on February 12th, 1973 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Robert and Joan Holtzberg. She was a 1991 graduate of Snider High School and a graduate of IUPUI with a degree in Biology. Bridget was a successful small business owner, but being an outstanding mother was truly her life’s work.
Bridget would do anything for anyone, at anytime. Selfless and genuine, she had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. She was an avid lover of animals and zoos, and had many pets throughout her life. She loved sitting on the back porch with a good glass of wine while chatting with friends and listening to music. She enjoyed watching tv crime dramas and screaming at the tv every Sunday while watching the Chicago Bears. But nothing was more important to Bridget than her love for her daughter Kennedy. She was a phenomenal mother who beamed with pride whenever she spoke of Kennedy.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Kennedy and Kennedy’s father Naveen; mother, Joan; sisters Brooke (Jim) and Brittney; many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and a (sh!tlo@d of) friends and pets. She was preceded in death by her father, Bob, and dogs, Madonna, Eddie and Prince.
Family, friends and others whose lives Bridget touched are invited to reminisce, grieve, support each other and of course share cherished memories. Visitation times are Thursday, April 29th from 5pm – 8pm, and on Friday, April 30th from 9am – 12pm at the Crown Hill Funeral Home – Gothic Chapel (700 West 38th Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46208 – use the 34th Street and Boulevard Place entrance gate and follow the road straight back).
A private service for immediate family to follow at 1pm on Friday.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Bridget’s name can be made to any charity that supports the quality treatment of people, animals or any other humanity organization.
***Once again please use the 34th Street and Boulevard Place entrance gate and follow the road straight back to the Gothic Chapel.***
