Bonnie was born in Saint Paul, MN to Eunice and Alois Unze on March 19th, 1947 and attended school there. She had 4 sons with Bob Anderson and raised her family in Fishers, IN since 1985.
Bonnie was a dedicated and resourceful mother, turning her many artistic talents into work. On top of housekeeping and nannying, she was a beloved entertainer at children’s parties, a professional decorative painter, and a fitness coach, among her other self-taught skills.
Despite the pressures of being a single mother, Bonnie was still passionately active in her community and church, leading women’s fitness groups and volunteering. Her enthusiasm for life and her strong faith were an inspiration for everyone who knew her.
Bonnie is survived by her four sons and their spouses, Bryan, Chris and Melissa, David and Megan, and Joel, and by her five grandchildren and her partner Patrick Ratley
Memorials are suggested to be given to the Laundry ministry that Bonnie was involved in, at ServantsOfChrist.org, or to any ministry helping single mothers and battered women.
Join Bonnie’s family for a celebration of her life at the Servants of Christ Lutheran Church, 7650 Oaklandon Rd, Indianapolis, on June 26th at 2 PM.
